Loving Right Now....

Oy Vey it's been 2 weeks since my last post!! Atlanta was a blast! It was freezing cold, but that was kind of fun for a Southern California girl who doesn't experience as much weather as she sometimes would like to. With that said, I couldn't have been happier to be welcomed home by the heavenly Summer-like weather. I have some fun things to post about coming up here soon - but I haven't quite gotten my pictures together. In the mean time, I just stumbled upon this sweet company and had to share. Meet the Dupps Family.

Their color palette and patterns are tapping in to my Summer craving!

Master Bed Re-Do Part2

I'm on a roll with our master bedroom re-do. For the last few months I've been searching for fabric for a new duvet cover. Unfortunately, the fabric I really had my eye on was WAY to pricey for my small to non-existing budget.

Santa Claus new what I was looking for and found some Amy Butler fabric in the color I was looking for. Her fabrics are fairly well-priced, and more accessible than most designer fabrics. Santa ran out of time before Christmas this year (with all his deliveries and all) and was able to finish it last week!

Santa knew about this project that I had been working on and brought me Pottery Barn's pick-stitch quilt and Euro shams in cream on Christmas morning!

Here's our old duvet cover - I really like it but I've had for a few years now. It was my one and only purchase from Pottery Barn with my employee discount when I worked there one summer during college.

I know this is completely NOT relevant to this post but I just had to share these pics. We had the most incredible sunset last night! I was walking down my stairs and looked out the window to this incredible sight!

Not only was the sunset gorgeous but the lighting was fantastic. I think this is one of the first outside shots of our house I've posted!

Cheap Fabric and Cute Pillows

My mom and I took a little field trip to Calico Corners last week. Word on the street was they were having a killer sale! In my opinion, you have to ready and prepared to DIG whilst shopping a sale. After a bit-o-digging, we found some FABULOUS blue and white fabric for........are you ready for it......$5.50 for 5 YARDS!!! Awesome fabric + a mom who sews = rad pillows!
